Divest from the War Machine
Organizing and advocating to pressure municipalities, universities, retirement funds, churches, other institutions, and individuals to divest from weapons producers, military contractors, and other corporations profiting from militarism and war is crucial to align our values with our actions. CODEPINK, a founding member group of UFPJ, leads a major, national divestment effort. Other UFPJ member groups have achieved important victories with institutions in their communities.
