3. National Day of Fasting and Focus: Stop Where You Are
Monday, June 8, 5 PM to 5:30 PM EST. Join us live on Facebook
Two weeks after the murder of George Floyd, the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is calling the nation for a Day of Fasting and Focus which will culminate at 5:00pm when we are asking people to stop where you are for 8 minutes and 46 seconds in silence in honor of the time George Floyd had the literal knee of the state on his neck. You can tune in at fb.com/anewppc.
United for Peace and Justice (UFPJ) is proud to be a national mobilizing partner in the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival. We urge you to join us in helping to make June 20 the largest digital and social media gathering of poor and low-income people, moral and religious leaders, advocates, and people of conscience in this nation’s history.
Forward Together!
