United for Peace and Justice condemns the ongoing violence and calls for an immediate end of US funding for Israeli Occupation and the current offensive going on in the Gaza Strip. These organization offer a variety of resources and do what you can to stop the blood shed and end the occupation.
According to a UN email as of August 5 After 29 excruciating days of devastating violence in Gaza:
- Over 1,800 Palestinian lives have been lost, 85% innocent civilians;
- Nearly 30% of the entire population is displaced;
- 375,000 children require immediate psycho-social support;
- Most of the population has no or very limited access to water and electricity;
- The health system is on the verge of complete collapse.
The United States funds this war and the ongoing occupation. As Congress is on break we call on people across the United States to visit, protest and demand a change in US policy.
The media has been complicit as well. Write letters, call your editor or organize a protest. Consider bringing or reading those who have been killed.
These organization offer analysis and resources to better understand the conflict and take action.

The global movement for a campaign of Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel until it complies with international law and Palestinian rights was initiated by Palestinian civil society in 2005, and is coordinated by the Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC), established in 2007. BDS is a strategy that allows people of conscience to play an effective role in the Palestinian struggle for justice.
The International Solidarity Movement (ISM) is a Palestinian-led movement committed to resisting the long-entrenched and systematic oppression and dispossession of the Palestinian population, using non-violent, direct-action methods and principles. Founded in August 2001, ISM aims to support and strengthen the Palestinian popular resistance by being immediately alongside Palestinians in olive groves, on school runs, at demonstrations, within villages being attacked, by houses being demolished or where Palestinians are subject to consistent harassment or attacks from soldiers and settlers as well as numerous other situations.
