UFPJ 3rd National Assembly -- Logistics

PARTICIPATION
Every member group of UFPJ is encouraged to send at least one delegate to the Assembly. A group is considered a member of UFPJ if it has joined the coalition no later than June 15, 2007 (deadline extended). The Assembly is also open to others, and we encourage our member groups to invite non-member groups whose participation would be valuable to your local organizing efforts. Everyone will be able to participate in all aspects of the Assembly, but only delegates from member groups will be able to participate in decision-making.

Each member group of UFPJ can send decision-making delegates according to the following guidelines:

  • 2 per independent local organization or coalition
  • 2 per national organization
  • 1 per local chapter/affiliate of a national group

The people who are likely to contribute to and get the most out of the Assembly are those who are most active in your group or organization; have a good sense of the group’s overall vision, strategy and activities; and are avid networkers.
